2021 Race for Vocations Information

Due to COVID-19, we have a Plan A and Plan B set in place so we can still have the Race for Vocations this year!

PLAN A:

If the One America 500 5K and Mini Marathon goes off as planned on May 8, 2021, then the Race for Vocations will take part in the beautiful event as we normally do. We’ll have a Mass for Vocations with Archbishop Thompson at 6:30pm the night before the race (May 7th), as well as the pasta dinner, both held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. We will also have our post-race tent in Military Park after the race (May 8th).

PLAN B:

If COVID-19 requires the cancellation of the One America event, we have a backup plan!

We’ll have a Mass for Vocations with Archbishop Thompson at 6:30pm the night before the race (May 7th), as well as the pasta dinner, both held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. On Saturday, May 8th we will gather at St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield. We will then do the 5k or half marathon on the Pennsy trail which is located close to St. Michael. A post-race gathering will be held there as well.

REGARDLESS:

Regardless of if we have PLAN A or PLAN B, we want you there!!!!  This will be an event to pray for vocations! All participants will receive a R4V t-shirt. Together we will offer up our runs for more holy vocations in our Church!

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
